It really does take a village!

Village for Parents of neurodivergent children support and psycho-educational group

Parenting a child who is Autistic, an ADHDer, a Dyslexic or who has Sensory Processing Disorder can often feel like a lonely journey and that other's just don't "get it". (Parents of other neurodivergent children welcome as well). This closed group will meet two days a month for 120min and will provide a space to find both support as well as psycho-educational resources to navigate the difficulties and joys that a neurodivergent child and their family can face. There will be space for a minimum 6-8 people in each group (depending on number of parents in each family wanting to attend) and the group will run for a minimum of a 2 month commitment. The members will be encourage to stay connected after the group disbands in order to have a “Village” to draw support from. The group also will have the option to continue with the therapist guide for an additional 2 sessions.

When: Beginning in Spring 2025 (APRIL and MAY) Fridays 10am-12pm

Group will meet twice a month for a total of 4 sessions (with the option of extending the group an additional 2 sessions -JUNE)

Time: 120 mins 

six to eight Participants (groups can have multiple parents from a family system)

Cost: $80 per person attending

Group will accept both parents of current clients and parents from the general public.

(There will be opportunities in the future for additional groups with the same format to help form more villages!)
